Host and Media Information
Thank you for your interest in having me as a guest.
I'm Darla Ridilla, a Voice & Podcast Launch Mentor, speaker, and host of You Have the Power: The Road to Truth, Freedom and Real Connection.
Before mentoring aspiring podcasters, I spent years helping women navigate patterns with emotionally unavailable men, narcissistic abuse, trauma bonding, self-abandonment, and relational power dynamics.
That work revealed something deeper:
Many people are not struggling because they have nothing to say.
They're struggling because they've spent years disconnecting from their own voice.
Today, my work bridges both worlds.
I speak about emotionally unavailable relationships, narcissistic abuse recovery, trauma-informed healing, authentic leadership, visibility, podcasting, and the power of using your voice.
My conversations are direct, nuanced, and rooted in lived experience, emotional intelligence, and truth-telling.
If that aligns with your platform, the information below will help you determine fit.

Conversation Style & Content Integrity
I protect my voice and the integrity of the conversations I participate in.
My work includes open, direct discussion of topics such as:
-
emotionally unavailable and narcissistic relationship dynamics
-
trauma bonding
-
self-abandonment in relationships
-
relational power dynamics
-
women’s lived experiences in intimate relationships and the familial patterns that shape them
I speak openly about narcissistic abuse, emotionally unavailable relationship dynamics, trauma bonding, and relational power.
I use the word narcissist intentionally and do not require my language to be softened, reframed, or edited for comfort.
If your platform restricts these conversations or requires excessive editorial control around these topics, we are unlikely to be a fit.
Pre-Recording Alignment Call
Before confirming any podcast, media, or speaking appearance, I require a brief alignment call (10–15 minutes).
This ensures:
-
mutual clarity around conversation themes
-
energetic and professional alignment
-
a grounded, respectful experience for both parties
Requests to record without an alignment call will be declined.
Scheduling
To respect time and availability on both sides, recordings are scheduled exclusively through a calendar link.
I do not hold tentative times or coordinate scheduling via email, as my availability shifts frequently.
Best Fit Platforms
My voice is best aligned with platforms that value:
-
emotionally intelligent, depth-oriented conversations
-
women-centered audiences
-
nuance, discernment, and truth over performance
-
respectful dialogue around trauma, power, and relational dynamics
-
hosts who prioritize preparation and professionalism
If your platform prioritizes positivity-only messaging, debate-style formats, or heavy editorial control, I may not be the right fit.
